CHANT/MANTRA

Amor, Amo, Amabilis sum.

I am loved, I am loving, I am lovable.

Gihigugma ako, Nahigugma ako, Angay akong Higugmaon.

 

DIVINE PERSONS

 

There are 3 Divine Persons in one and only one God.

This is the Blessed Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

 

EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE

 

Just as there is only one equilateral triangle, so also there is only one God, the Supreme Being.

Just as there are three equal sides in an equilateral triangle so also there are three divine persons in God.

The three sides of an equilateral triangle also remind us of the three characteristics of true love:

1.       giving = God the Father gives us life.

2.       forgiving = God the Son became Man in order to die on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven.

3.       indwelling (closeness/nearness) = God the Holy Spirit dwells in each one of us. He is closer to us than we are to ourselves so that we can truly sing, “God is dwelling in my heart, He and I are one…”
