IV.               ACADEMIC INFORMATION

a.       EXAMINATIONS

                                                               i.      Summative tests are scheduled every Friday of the week. Monthly examinations are administered at the end of the month. The NO TUITION, NO TEST policy shall be implemented. A pupil without an examination permit (signed Passbook) is not allowed to take the test unless a promissory note is given to Sir Jun before the exam. For issues regarding the settlement of your accounts, do see Sir Jun BEFORE the scheduled exam date.

                                                             ii.      A Reading Test/Assessment shall be administered in the middle of the school term.

                                                            iii.      At the end of the school year (by March), an Achievement Test shall be conducted on all levels.

b.       FEEDBACK/SCHOOL VISITS

                                                               i.      For Preschool, Parents/Guardians are allowed to accompany their child inside the classroom only during the first two (2) weeks of adjustment period in the school. Otherwise, parents or guardians are allowed to stay and wait for their children at the school gate or in the waiting area and strictly follow the schedule of entry to the school.

                                                             ii.      Take interest to listen to your child’s daily experiences and spend time to assist her/him in doing the homework. It takes two to tango: the home and the school.

                                                            iii.      Visit the school whenever possible especially at times when there are exhibits, open houses, programs/affairs, etc. There may also be times when the school will schedule a visit to your home.

                                                            iv.      You shall be notified of your child’s academic performance on a quarterly basis through the distribution of report cards and direct feedback (oral/written) from your child’s adviser. Only parents and guardians are allowed to claim the report card from the Homeroom adviser.
