I. NATURE AND HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
a. OLCI is A NON-STOCK, NON-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES PRE-ELEMENTARY AND COMPLETE ELEMENTARY EDUCATION, DULY REGISTERED WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) AND PERMITTED TO OPERATE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED).
b. This institution was established in the year 2004 by Dr. Agustin L. Sollano, Jr. It started as a Preschool with 1 classroom, 2 teachers and 14 pupils.
c. For SY 2005 – 2006, 18 pupils enrolled with the opening of Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4. On its way to School Year 2006 - 2007, OLCI offered Grades 5 and 6. Its enrolment totaled 36 pupils. For 2007 – 2008, we strengthened our curriculum and strove to produce quality graduates. In the year 2008 – 2009, OLCI opened its doors to a secondary level of education. This became a challenge as there were only 4 students for first year high school. For SY 2009 – 2010, OLCI shall stop operating its secondary level and shall focus on strengthening its Preschool and Elementary Education.
The children are the life and the reason for the existence of this institution.
OLCI serves to develop them into well-rounded individuals and to bring them closer to God.
